WHO WE ARE
Hello! I am Treasa Pappachan, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, and the Founder and Director of Adapt Immigration Inc. For more than 15 years, my career revolved around helping people pursue their dream of moving to another country.
Here at Adapt, we guide and accompany people, like you, navigate through the immigration process with confidence and peace of mind.
Speak with us today about LMIA and Work Permit Application.
'What happens during a consultation?'
'What preparations are needed?'
'Do I need to answer questions?'
'Do I need to speak English fluently?'
'Will I fail the interview?'
Don't worry! You don't need any requirements yet. Although you need to speak in English, you don't need to be fluent and you won't fail during this call. It's not a job interview or a test. This 45-minute consultation is all about you. Our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant will look into your profile assessment and explain to you your immigration pathways and the steps you should take to increase your chances of success.
Here are some tips and info that will help put your mind at ease:
1. We use ZOOM for most of online consultations, so it's good to have a Zoom app ready on your phone or computer.
2.The consultation is NOT like a job interview. Don't be nervous because you cannot fail in a consultation. Our immigration consultant will ask some questions that will help assess your eligibility to a specific immigration program, but more importantly, you will ask questions to understand the process and make sound decisions.
3.Prepare your questions. Consultations usually run for about 30-45 mins and English Language will be used. So you want to be ready with your questions. Have a pen and paper ready and list them down. ex:
- “based on my profile, what immigration program can you recommend?”
- “how long is the PR application process?'
- “how much money do I need if want to immigrate to Canada?”
- “what are the requirements I need to prepare?”
4.Prepare documents prior to consultation. Get your resume, language test results, school records, etc. No need to worry if you don't have these yet. They are not required as of now but having them would make the consultation smoother.
5.Also mention specific information about you that you think may affect your application like: previous visa refusal, applying as family, police record or pending case, etc.
When you book a consultation with us, we will send you a questionnaire to the email you have provided. You can complete the questionnaire before your scheduled consultation so our Immigration Consultant can discuss the result of your profile assessment.
It is important that you complete all the information needed so we can provide you an accurate assessment. But don't worry if you do not have English Language Test Result, Certificate of Employments, and other supporting documents with you. An estimate of dates and results would be fine for now. The questionnaire is a tool that we use here at Adapt to assess your profile. This is not yet an application that we will submit to IRCC.
In order for this consultation to take place, your employer must also be open or willing to find out more about the possibility of supporting your work permit or PR application.
We need teamwork!
You'll speak with your employer so we can schedule a meeting with them. We'll take care of mostly everything after that. Our Immigration Consultant will discuss the process of getting an LMIA and work permit, the cost, and other information that your employer need to know in order for them to decide if they can help you or not with your application.
We conduct a detailed presentation to the employer. This can happen during the employer consultation or on a separate schedule.
During this presentation, we will explain in more detail the timeline process, forms, documentary requirements, auditing information, and possible interview questions.
